Rumpets Cookies
(These are cookies people can eat. Remember, the Reindeer Rumpets are very different! Reindeer Rumpets are for reindeer only - do NOT eat them! These are a very special yummy treat!)

Materials Needed:
1 stick of melted butter
1 cup of sugar
1 egg
1 lb. of Christmas Love
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 cup of buttermilk
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3 1/2 cups of flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Food coloring (optional)
2 Christmas Kisses
1 Pinch of Good Cheer


Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar, add egg and vanilla.
2. Add food coloring if you would like colored Rumpets Cookies.
3. Add flour.
4. Alternately mix dry ingredients with buttermilk.
5. Add Christmas love, kisses and good cheer.
6. Chill overnight. (Do NOT skip this step!)
7. Roll out into worms (1/2 inch diameter) and shape to look like a Rumpet.
8. Bake at 500 degrees for 5-7 minutes.
9. You may need to add more flour to roll out your Rumpet Cookies.
